The Land Use and Development Committee endeavors to implement the development guidelines established in the Broad Ripple Village Plan (adopted by the Department of Metropolitan Development in November 2012) and submits recommendations to the BRVA board and Department of Metropolitan Development regarding zoning and planning issues and local and state boards and commissions regarding the issuance of alcoholic beverage permits.

  • 6358 North College Avenue - Nalja Osman Inc.: Nicole Anderson presenting on a request for a special exception of the Consolidated Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance to provide for the operation of a daycare center, subject to the filed plan of operation and a request for a variance of development standards of the Consolidated Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance to provide for a five-space parking area (minimum nine spaces required). Case #2025-SE2-004 - Hearing scheduled for November 18, 2025
